We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team at Curefit Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru. As part of building India’s largest fitness platform, you will design and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices that power group workouts, gym sessions, and member retention systems at scale. Your responsibilities include:

• Building seamless integrations for internal tools and customer-facing services to enhance product value.
• Developing and optimizing APIs with robust REST design principles, including versioning, idempotency, and error handling.
• Ensuring system reliability, performance tuning, and low-latency operations for member data, scheduling, and engagement systems.
• Exploring AI-assisted workflows and agent-based tooling to accelerate development and delivery.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex backend challenges.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of backend experience in a product-based company.
• Proficient in Node.js/TypeScript or Java/Spring Boot, with deep ownership in one and familiarity in the other.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB) skills with a focus on latency, retries, and failure modes.
• Curiosity about AI tools and their impact on engineering productivity.
