Software Development Engineer (SDE III / IV) at Hevo Data - Bangalore

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly maintainable and efficient software components and systems.
• Act as a pod lead, driving feature development across multiple sprints.
• Independently design, scope, and implement complex features.
• Address and resolve performance and scalability challenges within an evolving enterprise product.
• Continuously enhance the overall quality of code structure and the product.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for owned components, both code and non-code.
• Lead the design and development of advanced data integration solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to improve the core product and deliver new functionalities.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in object-oriented design, design patterns, and creating intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
• Experience in developing highly concurrent, multithreaded applications with a focus on system performance and throughput.
• Solid understanding of system performance trade-offs, load balancing, and engineering for high availability.
• Excellent programming skills in Java or another prominent programming language.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and their space/time complexities.
• Proven technical aptitude and a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals.
• 4-8 years of experience in building scalable, highly critical distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable institution.
