About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Software Development Engineer II (SDE-II) specializing in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF). You will play a key role in developing scalable backend systems, robust APIs, and enterprise-grade modules for our global ERP platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance web applications using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Create secure, RESTful APIs that integrate third-party services, payment gateways, government portals, and external data sources.
• Build and optimize ERP modules covering Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, HR, Payroll, CRM, and Compliance systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with frontend teams, QA engineers, DevOps specialists, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Optimize database queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL), enhance API performance, and ensure application scalability.
• Implement secure authentication mechanisms using JWT/OAuth2 following best practices for code quality and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues, contribute to system architecture, and lead technical discussions in a fast-paced environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Hands-on expertise with Django Framework and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing secure RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of ORM, query optimization, database design patterns using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols including JWT and OAuth2.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems and modern software development lifecycle practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Redis for caching and Celery for task queuing.
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and CI/CD pipeline management.
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platform experience preferred.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture patterns.
• Background developing SaaS or ERP solutions is highly valued.
• Domain knowledge in Accounting, Finance, GST compliance, or regulatory frameworks will be a significant advantage.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. (Computer Science, IT) or MCA with equivalent practical skills.
