SDE - II

Anakin is seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This permanent role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will build robust, scalable, and efficient backend services, APIs, and systems using Python or Java. Responsibilities include writing clean, maintainable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, engineers), participating in code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. You will also develop comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests, identify and resolve software issues, and contribute to improving CI/CD and DevOps practices. Staying updated with the latest advancements in Python, Java, and software development is crucial, as is contributing to system performance optimization and enhanced user experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional backend software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python/Java/Go, with experience in frameworks like Django, Flask (Python) or Spring, Spring Boot (Java).
• Proven experience in RESTful API development and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
