Join WEX's Benefits Technology team as a Software Engineer in Bangalore. You will collaborate with product managers and customers to understand employer challenges in the employee benefits landscape. Design, build, and test high-quality software using the latest technologies and test-driven development practices to solve complex problems. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, data-driven decision-making, designing and coding new solutions, developing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), strengthening engineering processes with TDD/BDD, microservices, and vertical slice architectures. You will also support live applications, promote proactive monitoring, drive incident response, analyze systems for improvement, mentor peers, and continuously learn new technologies. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience, along with 12+ years of software engineering experience, is required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential. Passion for modern technologies and design is a must, with a strong aptitude to learn Docker, Kafka/event-driven design, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm/ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, and GraphQL. Must-have technologies include C#, .NET, Java, Python, modern RDBMS (MS SQL, Postgres), ASP.NET RESTful API design, and modern Web UI Frameworks (Angular, React, Blazor).
