SDE 3 / 4

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer (SDE-3/4) to scale our endpoint platform to support over 100K enterprise devices. This role involves enhancing the existing agent for sensitive data discovery and classification by making it massively scalable, reliable, and lightweight across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

• Scale architecture for 100K+ device environments
• Design efficient agent-to-cloud communication pipelines with robust backpressure mechanisms
• Optimize resource usage including CPU, memory, network, and battery life across large fleets
• Ensure reliability during upgrades, restarts, and in heterogeneous offline scenarios
• Build rollout versioning, health monitoring, and rollback systems
• Enable at-rest discovery for millions of files without performance impact
• Lay groundwork for DLP, real-time data movement tracking, and policy enforcement
• Extend agent capabilities to AI governance visibility
• Develop native OS-level features using Windows, macOS, or Linux frameworks
• Lead architecture decisions, benchmarks, reliability targets, and engineering standards
• Mentor teams while collaborating with founders, product, security research, and platform units

• 6-10 years of software engineering experience
• Proven track record scaling endpoint agents or device management platforms (EDR/XDR/DLP)
• Deep systems knowledge covering OS internals, concurrency, networking, and filesystems
• Mastery in C++, Rust, C, Go, or equivalent languages
• Experience with distributed systems across tens to hundreds of thousands of nodes
• Expertise in performance tuning, telemetry pipelines, fault tolerance, debugging
• Solid understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux internals
