The Role: The Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) will be instrumental in building and scaling business-critical web and mobile applications, while integrating AI-powered intelligence into core workflows. Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Ownership: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack and cross-platform mobile applications with Flutter. Take full ownership of features from conception through deployment.
• Backend & Systems Architecture: Architect secure, high-performance backend systems, APIs, and internal tools that align with business needs. Focus on ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• AI-Driven Systems: Integrate AI-powered features such as intelligent search, recommendations, predictive analytics, automated data enrichment, and internal AI assistants using LLM APIs and AI workflows.
• Automation & Intelligence: Implement AI-assisted automation across procurement, operations, reporting, and support systems to enhance efficiency and improve decision-making processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, operations, analytics, and leadership teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Engineering Excellence: Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD practices, monitoring, performance optimization, and security. Continuously strive to improve system scalability and developer productivity.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor junior developers, actively contribute to architectural discussions, and help shape the long-term technology strategy.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced Engineer: Possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong Technical Foundation: Demonstrate proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Flutter, and PostgreSQL, with robust backend and API design capabilities.
• AI-Curious Builder: Have experience with, or a strong interest in, integrating AI/ML APIs, LLM-based systems, or intelligent automation into production applications.
• Systems Thinker: Possess a deep understanding of database design, performance optimization, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and Linux environments.
• Ownership Mindset: Be comfortable working autonomously, taking accountability for project outcomes, and developing systems designed for scalability.
