SDE-2, Partner Engineering

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE-2) to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team at Zinier. This role focuses on building scalable web applications that empower frontline workers worldwide using AI and low-code technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Application & Module Development: Design, develop, configure, and enhance business applications using the Zinier Low/No-Code Platform. Build new modules, workflows, UI components, and application capabilities based on product requirements.
• Integration Architecture: Develop robust integrations with REST APIs, third-party applications, enterprise systems, and services to ensure seamless data flow.
• AI-Native Development (Must Have): Build and integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities such as copilots, intelligent automation, recommendations, and agentic workflows. Experience required with platforms like OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Amazon Bedrock, including prompt engineering and RAG implementations.
• Quality Assurance & Security: Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests. Implement secure practices to protect against XSS, CSRF/XSRF, and other vulnerabilities while ensuring high performance.
• Cross-Platform Development: Work across frontend (React.js/Angular), backend logic, APIs, integrations, and platform components to deliver complete solutions from UI to data layers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience Level: 6–10 years of software development experience building scalable web applications (Mid-to-Senior Level).
• Core Technologies:
  • Languages: Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Frontend: Modern frameworks such as React.js or Angular.
  • Architecture: Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, AJAX/fetch, JSON, REST APIs, and web application architecture.
• AI & Low-Code Proficiency:
  • Mandatory hands-on experience building or integrating LLM-powered applications (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.).
  • Promising knowledge of prompt flows, structured outputs, function/tool calling, and AI workflow design.
  • Ability to balance configuration-based low-code development with custom engineering tasks.
• Testing & DevOps:
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Mocha).
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with Git/CI/CD pipelines for version control and deployment.
