About the Role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer (SDE) II to join our rapidly expanding Engineering team at Zinier. This role focuses on developing high-quality, scalable backend code for our ecosystem while collaborating in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the product team to ensure requirements clarity and feasibility.
• Develop and maintain robust Java-based backends using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Optimize applications for peak performance, speed, and scalability on AWS (S3, Lambda).
• Mentor junior engineers and foster best practices through code reviews and training initiatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Technical Requirements

(Primary Focus - Backend): 4-6 years of experience with strong OOP concepts, Java Spring Boot, REST API development, TDD practices, Redis integration, relational databases (MySQL preferred), AWS services, and Git. Knowledge of NoSQL document stores is a plus.

(Preferred - Frontend for Full Stack): Hands-on React.js experience, state management (Redux/Context), modern CSS frameworks, API integration in frontend apps, and familiarity with component-driven development and testing libraries like Jest.
