Opportunity:
As a Software Development Engineer II (Frontend) at Hiver, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technical landscape, influencing our product roadmap, and guiding your team while contributing to our vibrant company culture. With our customer base expanding rapidly and processing over 5 million emails daily for thousands of active users, you will be at the forefront of creating and enhancing the user experience.
- Build and maintain interactive and responsive frontend systems across various form factors; own all aspects from coding to deploying.
- Build next-generation web applications with high reusability, performing foundational work on multiple project aspects in this early phase.
- Help define and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with designers and stakeholders to build dynamic user experiences while embracing emerging standards.
What are we looking for?
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building frontend systems (Mid/Senior level).
- Proficiency in Web Fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript, React & TypeScript.
- Experience with SASS / Tailwind CSS is required.
- Sound knowledge of design patterns and best practices for writing clean, linted, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Strong know-how with frontend tooling and deployment practices.
- An architect's mindset: balancing fast time-to-market with long-term prospects; continuously assessing trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot issues timely.
- Ability to iterate and deliver at a fast pace; speed is essential.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
