Join the engineering team at Dream11 as an SDE 2 - Backend Engineer to build high-performance solutions on cloud infrastructure.

Your Role

• Analyze requirements and design software solutions using first principles like Object-Oriented Design, E-R Modeling, and clean code practices.
• Develop resilient, event-driven microservices with reactive Java frameworks (Spring Boot), SQL/NoSQL datastores, caching (Redis/Memcached), messaging systems (Kafka/Apache MQ), and big-data processing tools.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native services on AWS public clouds, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Maintain production software services via observability stacks like Datadog for logging, alerting, monitoring, and incident response.

Qualifiers

• 4+ years of professional coding experience with a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), preferably Java or similar JVM languages.
• Solid expertise in relational database design, E-R modeling, SQL queries, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Cassandra and caching frameworks for performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with distributed messaging frameworks like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ/IBM MQ.
• Deep understanding of OOP design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer) to create robust architectures.
• Demonstrated proficiency in deploying applications on AWS cloud infrastructure and managing CI/CD pipelines.
