Licious, a leading Bengaluru-based D2C food-tech company founded in 2015, is seeking an SDE-1 (Backend) to join its dynamic team. As an SDE-1, you will contribute to backend features and modules by writing clean, maintainable, and bug-free code under guidance. You will gain hands-on experience in scalable system design, assist with Low Level Design (LLD), and be exposed to High Level Design (HLD). This role involves problem-solving using appropriate data structures and algorithms, debugging, testing, and improving existing services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to understand best practices and continuously learn new technologies and frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of backend development experience, a strong foundation in Data Structures & Algorithms, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Java and backend frameworks like Spring Boot / JPA is required, along with an understanding of OOP concepts and basic backend design principles. Working knowledge of SQL and some exposure to NoSQL databases is beneficial. Familiarity with REST APIs and backend service development, along with basic unit testing and debugging skills, is expected. Exposure to AWS/cloud concepts is a plus. A BE/BTech degree or equivalent is required.
