Scrum Master

This role is located in either Hyderabad or Pune.

As a Scrum Master, you will lead team activities for grooming and maintaining the product backlog, utilizing SCRUM/LeSS methodologies. You will be expected to possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Risk management is a key responsibility, as is contributing to backlog management and prioritization within the team. You will prepare user stories in agreement with the team and the Product Owner, and contribute to release planning and sign-offs, adhering to organizational guidelines and processes. A technical background is advantageous, and good knowledge of the banking sector is a plus. You will facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution across squads. Demonstrated ability in effective communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving is essential. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are required for dealing with multiple stakeholders. Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment are crucial. Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, along with excellent documentation abilities, are also expected.

Key Requirements:

• MUST HAVE: Japanese Language proficiency (at least N3 Level).
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. PMP or an equivalent Agile (SCRUM, LeSS) certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role; good banking knowledge is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA/Confluence for dashboards, board configuration, and burndown charts.
• Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team.
• Proficiency in servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for project management.
• A proven track record of leading and supporting successful projects.
• Previous experience in a leadership role with strong, proven leadership skills.
• Experience in conflict resolution and management.
• Highly organized with excellent time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask effectively, with a strong understanding of core managerial duties.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation.
