Full Job Description
Vanderlande is actively seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our internal ICT organization in Pune District, Maharashtra, India. This role is pivotal in enhancing our agile maturity across Dev/Ops teams, with an initial focus on a software development product team. As a Senior Scrum Master, you will guide and mentor Scrum teams in delivering high-quality solutions and support fellow Scrum Masters. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, DevOps Teams, Release Train Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of Agile practices and principles within our IT Agile Release Train (SAFe). The teams you will lead include the Pro-code team, ICT Infra Team, and Network, which focus on developing full-stack software solutions for internal needs such as time writing, project execution, and customer site equipment installation guidance. The Data Transport team, which you may also support, is crucial for data exchange across the Vanderlande IT application landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate essential Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams to improve their Agile maturity, emphasizing the importance of Scrum practices for teams that may not yet fully grasp their value.
- Identify and remove impediments to foster a highly collaborative team environment.
- Partner with Product Owners to maintain a clear and well-prioritized product backlog.
- Address impediments raised by cross-functional teams and act as a liaison between various Scrum teams.
- Monitor and report on team progress and key performance metrics.
- Champion continuous improvement and guide teams in delivering value incrementally.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to refine and advance Agile practices across the organization.
- Challenge teams constructively to drive better outcomes. As a Senior Scrum Master, you are expected to be deeply knowledgeable in Scrum, adapting methodologies to best suit our specific needs and team dynamics.
- Inspire and guide less experienced Scrum Masters in their development as Agile servant leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years in a senior capacity.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile (SAFe) methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills. Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring capabilities are essential.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools such as Jira.
