Capgemini is seeking experienced Scrum Masters with a strong background in data projects to join our dynamic teams in Pune, Bengaluru, and Gurugram. This role combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and a Data Business Analyst, focusing on driving agile methodologies and delivering high-quality data solutions.

About the Role:

As a Scrum Master, you will be instrumental in cultivating a high-performing agile environment. You will act as an agile coach, championing Scrum principles, practices, and team-agreed rules. Your expertise in various frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP will be crucial in enhancing team dynamics and performance.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and escalate risks and impediments hindering team progress.
• Foster continuous team-level improvement through tactical implementation of agile practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to prioritize work based on business value and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Manage and maintain the health of the product backlog.
• Select appropriate tools, frameworks, and methodologies for team activities.
• Analyze sprint reports and burn-down charts to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Participate in defining business requirements and functional specifications.
• Engage in scope management, data analysis, and solution design in partnership with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Document detailed business requirements (BRD), develop solution designs (FSD), and create non-functional requirements, user manuals, and use case specifications.

Your Profile:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 to 10+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master. A strong understanding of the data lifecycle, including ingestion, modeling, BI/reporting, and analytics/ML experiments, is essential.

• Minimum 5-10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• Proven experience with the data lifecycle: ingestion, modeling, BI/reporting, analytics/ML experiments.
• Domain knowledge in CPRD, FS, MALS, Utilities, or TMT is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive experience implementing Scrum and other frameworks like Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies.
• Ability to independently prepare Functional Analysis and User Stories in collaboration with Product Management.
• Strong technical writing skills for BRD, FSD, Non-functional Requirements, User Manuals, and Use Cases.
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar workflow management tools.
• Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and coaching skills.
• Desirable knowledge of SQL, ETL frameworks, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
• Understanding of data governance, privacy/compliance, and quality management practices.
• Familiarity with success metrics such as sprint predictability, velocity, data quality checks, and defect leakage analysis.
• Experience in analyzing and presenting Agile Maturity Assessment data to drive team performance improvement.
