Responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, managing resource allocation, budgets, risks, and tracking issues. You will facilitate critical Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring strict adherence to project methodologies. Effective management of change requests, including impact analysis and approval processes, is essential. A strong emphasis will be placed on ensuring compliance with Salesforce best practices, governance, and security standards. You will be responsible for providing regular status updates and executive-level reporting on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and managing dependencies. Driving user adoption through training, change management, and clear stakeholder communication is also a core part of this role. As the primary escalation point for project-related issues, you will be expected to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of project management experience is required, including at least 3 years specifically managing Salesforce projects. A strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and CPQ, is crucial. Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies is expected; a Scrum Master or PMP certification is a significant advantage. Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Project Manager/Consultant credentials are highly preferred. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills are mandatory, alongside strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills: Experience with project tracking tools like JIRA, Asana, or MS Project. Familiarity with Salesforce integration tools, such as Netsuite. Exposure to release management and DevOps tools like Copado. The ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts is also advantageous.
