Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding our development teams to success by facilitating key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Your primary focus will be on removing impediments that hinder team progress and effectively managing dependencies, both within teams and across multiple teams. You will act as a coach, instilling Agile principles, promoting self-organization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborating closely with Product Owners, you will assist in backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring a clear and manageable product roadmap. Progress tracking will be a key responsibility, utilizing Agile metrics and tools such as Jira and Rally. Ultimately, you will champion and cultivate an environment of trust, collaboration, and accountability within your teams. Requirements include a strong foundation in Agile and Scrum practices, with a SAFe Agile certification being a preferred asset. Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills are essential. Prior experience (1-3 years) with Jira or Rally is required, along with a basic understanding of Commercial Insurance and P&C systems.
