About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Ingest, index, and search diverse terabytes-to-petabyte scale of scientific data using robust frameworks like OpenMetadata.
• Partner with domain scientists to understand science-specific data structures and optimize them for high-performance search according to project requirements.
• Develop highly usable web applications for user access while building high-performance APIs specifically tailored for AI model integration.
• Collaborate with science application teams to contribute to broader scientific initiatives within the Argonne ecosystem.
