Manager – AI / Gen AI - Data Science

Join EY's Data and Analytics team as a Manager specializing in AI and Generative AI. This role is based in Noida, UP, India, and offers the opportunity to work on diverse client projects across various industry sectors, including financial services, consumer products, healthcare, manufacturing, and telecommunications. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge AI and GenAI solutions to enhance EY's mergers and acquisition methodologies.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager proficient in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, deep learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs) for Generative AI. Your responsibilities will include developing and delivering industry-specific solutions that leverage AI/GenAI capabilities. This role requires strong Python programming skills and a deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and implement solutions using AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, and create APIs with Python.
• Lead the development and implementation of Generative AI applications using both open-source (e.g., Llama, BERT, Dolly) and closed-source (e.g., OpenAI GPT models, MS Azure Cognitive Services, Google's Palm, Cohere) Large Language Models.
• Work extensively with advanced models like GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Llama, and BERT for natural language processing and creative content generation.
• Design and optimize solutions that leverage Vector databases for efficient storage and retrieval of contextual data for LLMs.
• Understand business needs and sector-specific challenges to identify opportunities for analytics applications.
• Manage large to mid-size projects, ensuring smooth service delivery across assigned products, engagements, and geographies.
• Collaborate with project managers to assess resource needs and identify gaps, proposing alternative solutions.
• Provide expert reviews for all projects within your subject area.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional and cross-competency teams.
• Engage in Go-to-Market strategies and stakeholder management.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

• Experience guiding teams on AI/Data Science projects and communicating results to clients.
• Familiarity with implementing solutions within the Azure Cloud Framework.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• 9 - 14 years of relevant work experience in developing and implementing AI, Machine Learning Models. Experience with deployment in Azure is preferred.
• Experience in applying statistical techniques such as Linear and Non-Linear Regression, classification, optimization, forecasting, and text analytics.
• Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning algorithms and popular AI/ML frameworks.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with NLG, LLM, and DL techniques.
• Relevant understanding of Deep Learning and neural network techniques.
• Expertise in implementing applications using open-source and proprietary LLM models.
• Proficiency in using Langchain-type orchestrators or similar Generative AI workflow management tools.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of programming experience in Python.
• Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and principles of product development.
• Willingness to mentor team members.
• Solid thoughtfulness, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
