This role is crucial for designing, developing, and implementing AML transaction monitoring systems. Key Responsibilities in Mumbai

• SAS Development: Design, develop, and optimize SAS programs to support AML transaction monitoring and reporting needs within Mumbai's financial landscape.
• Alert Management: Implement logic for generating alerts based on predefined thresholds and scenarios, including suspicious low-value transactions or unusual transaction patterns.
• Data Management: Handle large datasets, performing data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical financial data.
• Scenario Development: Create and modify transaction monitoring rules, incorporating threshold-based scenarios and historical transaction analyses relevant to the Indian market.
• Regulatory Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports for regulators and internal stakeholders, ensuring strict compliance with AML guidelines applicable in India.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot data mismatches, such as transaction discrepancies or conversion rate errors, and collaborate with business users to find effective solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, compliance teams, and technical staff across Mumbai to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
