Louis Dreyfus Company is seeking a Senior SAP Solution Specialist with FICO expertise to ensure the effective implementation of business processes within our back-office systems. This role holds end-to-end ownership of key IT solutions, aligning the delivery roadmap, innovation pipeline, and continuous improvement with business needs. The specialist will maintain support structures and run KPIs, collaborating closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and functional heads to prioritize initiatives.
A primary mission of this role is to oversee the global SAP rollout, specifically the deployment of the finance core model. This involves coordinating stakeholders for seamless integration, managing project timelines and resources, ensuring compliance with local regulations and financial standards, providing training and support to local teams, and monitoring post-deployment performance against business requirements and KPIs. This position is crucial for the success of the Asia rollout and requires significant expertise in financial processes, project management, and stakeholder collaboration, with potential to contribute to projects worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Delivery & Management
- Develop and manage solution delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Conduct workshops for presentations, step-by-step guides, compliance training, hands-on sessions, and Q&A to ensure successful deployment and adoption of the finance core model, primarily for Asia.
- Maintain support structures and KPIs.
- Act as the primary contact for aligning solution priorities with BPOs and functional heads.
Governance & Strategy
- Develop strategies, initiatives, and communication plans to maximize solution value, adoption, and satisfaction.
- Own solution delivery and associated metrics, such as SLAs.
- Manage enhancement requests and prioritize them in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Handle level 3 support escalations to ensure operational continuity.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Manage vendors to ensure expected performance levels.
- Ensure business analysts effectively address requirements from business partners and BPO networks.
- Oversee and control implementations impacting the solution, managing dependencies with other solutions.
Documentation & Change Management
- Ensure up-to-date documentation.
- Manage the transition to the Run phase.
- Collaborate with various departments to design cross-application flows and ensure process maintenance and enhancement.
Leadership
- Lead and manage team capacity and activities.
- Champion change management processes.
- Provide functional and SAP expertise guidance to the team.
- Support strategic decision-making and long-term solution planning.
- Conduct business relationship management to align priorities and ensure business value.
- Develop action plans for continuous improvement and address recurrent incidents.
- Foster skill development within the team.
Support
- Support Application Management Services (AMS) teams for complex topics.
- Perform knowledge transfer to support teams to enhance their autonomy.
- Provide solution guidance.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Experienced in IT best practices.
- Proficiency in SAP FI CO, test campaign executions & automation tools, interface implementation, JIRA, and ServiceNow is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent relationship-building skills, ability to work with multiple teams, fast learner, adaptability, critical thinking, strong analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP FICO area, including India local project experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management.
- Experience in an international, multicultural environment, within a large IT company, and in a team-oriented and collaborative setting is a plus.
Languages:
Education:
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field.
