SAP Security Analyst

Brambles is seeking a skilled SAP Security Analyst to join their team in Bengaluru, India. This role is critical for building and supporting SAP Security design, redesign, strategy, and global customer support. The SAP Security Analyst will be accountable for the design, testing, building, and ongoing operation of SAP Security across all modules, including ownership of SAP Security Roles and their analysis, building, and configuration. Key responsibilities involve production support, continuous enhancement activities, and the management and operational support of the SAP Segregation of Duties (SOD) module. This position ensures adherence to Security Policies and Standards, assists with SAP Internal and External Audit compliance inquiries, and designs, builds, tests, and implements SAP Security functions throughout the systems life cycle. The analyst will analyze, develop, and configure security roles based on business requirements, resolve end-user production support security issues promptly, and ensure all changes adhere to change management guidelines. Utilizing Segregation of Duties tools is essential for enforcing roles, responsibilities, role change control, and SOD compliance. The role also involves ensuring compliance with security policies, procedures, and IT controls, assisting with SAP upgrade processes with a focus on security impacts, and performing daily administration, support, and troubleshooting of SAP security across SAP NetWeaver and peripheral landscapes. The SAP Security Analyst will leverage business knowledge and technology to propose value-added, audit-compliant solutions for business challenges, aiming to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA) while identifying areas for improvement. This role will engage with external and internal auditors, provide input into license compliance, and communicate with vendors. On-call support may be required as needed.

Key challenges in this role include understanding the technical capabilities of various IAM technologies and applying them to integrations within the Brambles environment.

Required Experience and Skills:

• SAP Security application expertise (e.g., ERP, BW, Hana, Fiori).
• Detailed understanding of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, profile generator, and user administration.
• Knowledge of global risk and compliance tools and processes for managing critical access combinations.
• Understanding of SAP Java and ABAP stack administration.
• Familiarity with the SAP transport and correction system.
• Knowledge of Single Sign-On technologies and Identity Management.
• Awareness of emerging technology trends and solutions.
• Commitment to continuous learning.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving (including root cause analysis), communication, and teamwork skills.
• Solid understanding of fundamental business processes and organizational structures.

Essential Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP Security.
• Strong understanding of SAP Security Concepts, including Access Management, Segregation of Duties, and Role Management.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
