SAP MDG Inhouse Consultant

Your Role

As an SAP MDG Inhouse Consultant at Doehler, you will be instrumental in the conception, implementation, and management of master data projects. Your primary focus will be on the optimal implementation and continuous improvement of master data concepts and processes.

You will actively contribute to key areas such as data modeling and designing robust data architectures. A significant aspect of your role will involve setting new standards through a project dedicated to implementing global Master Data Management (MDM) governance. Furthermore, you will develop strategic concepts for optimizing global MDM initiatives and drive the ongoing enhancement of master data processes.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating and aligning all requirements with relevant stakeholders, ensuring successful implementation. You will gently lead the conversion and implementation of our SAP data structure, recognizing its significant change management aspects. A crucial part of your role involves acting as an interface between business process governance roles, business units, and acting as a coach to advise colleagues across various specialist areas.

Your Profile

We are seeking a specialist in MDM, data governance, and data migration with a proven track record in these domains. You possess extensive experience in project work and management, coupled with a deep understanding of data and process modeling.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is expected, along with strong familiarity with SAP/MM or S4HANA. Experience with order-to-cash and source-to-pay processes is highly desirable.

A successful degree in (business) informatics, technical training, or a comparable qualification is required. You have a knack for thoroughly analyzing complex processes and possess a strong technical comprehension. Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling you to effectively convince others in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business functions and process experts to resolve material master data issues and drive process digitization initiatives.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of material master data across all business systems.
• Support business operations with required procedures and submit incidents or change requests as needed.
• Provide training to business functions on material master data requirements, governance, and related activities.
• Participate in testing and implementation of new processes and system enhancements supporting material master data management.
• Troubleshoot material master data-related problems, identify root causes, and initiate corrective actions.

Experience with basic SAP customizing, such as BRF+ or table entries, is considered a plus.
