EY is seeking a skilled SAP HANA ABAP Technical Lead for our Consulting team in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This role offers the opportunity to work on global cloud implementation projects, contributing significantly to client success.

Job Purpose:

Serve as a Technical Lead within the Consulting team, driving various cloud implementation projects for our international clientele.

Client Responsibilities:

• Lead technical streams within cloud implementation projects, acting as a team leader.
• Liaise and communicate effectively with onsite coordinators.
• Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team.
• Mentor project team members in executing identified projects.
• Provide regular status reports to management and onsite coordinators.
• Interact with customer representatives as needed.
• Be open to travel to customer locations on a needs basis.

People Responsibilities:

• Cultivate a strong quality culture within the team.
• Manage performance reviews for direct reports according to organizational policies.
• Promote teamwork and lead by example.
• Train and mentor project resources.
• Participate actively in organization-wide people initiatives.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficient in AS-ABAP on HANA.
• Experience with Webdynpro and Workflows is essential.
• Solid understanding of HANA Data Modelling Concepts.
• Expertise in Custom code push-down techniques.
• Practical knowledge of ABAP Development Toolkit (ADT).
• Demonstrated project experience with CDS and AMDP.
• Skills in Module Pool Programming, ADOBE forms, and Smart Forms.
• Strong ABAP programming skills with RICEFW development experience.
• Sound knowledge of User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and the Enhancement Framework.
• Familiarity with SAP data migration tools.
• Experience with SAP GATEWAY.
• Experience in implementation and migration projects.
• Educational background: BE/B.Tech/MCA with 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.

Desirable Skills:

• HANA Analytics, including predictive and text analysis.
• Knowledge of Fiori and SAP BO tools.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with OData and backend Fiori skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding and application of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
