EY is seeking a Senior SAP Fiori Developer for our Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India location. Job Purpose
Develop and extend SAP Fiori applications using SAP Business Application Studio (BAS). You will be responsible for implementing solutions following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines, providing UI design guidance with security considerations, and performing immediate hotfixes for critical issues and configurations.
Client Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced SAP developer with 3 to 7 years of experience in SAP technologies such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and SAPUI5/Fiori. Your role will involve building and enhancing SAP applications using these tools.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech/MCA degree with 3-7 years of relevant industry experience.
Core Competencies and Mandatory Skills
- Experience in developing and extending SAPUI5 and Fiori elements-based applications on the front end.
- Proficiency in developing Core Data Services (CDS).
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful services using the ABAP RAP framework to expose SAP data.
- Experience in extending standard Fiori applications.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP.
- Basic understanding of SAP BTP and its services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- SAP certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate) are preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
- Experience in ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- Data provisioning experience.
- Experience with OO ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- Knowledge of testing OData services.
- Experience with SAP Workflow RAP and Fiori (Senior level).
- Good to have experience in S/4 key user extension, developer extension, and Side-by-Side extensions using SAP BTP.
