SAP Business AI (Joule and Basic ABAP) - Senior Role

Deloitte Tax Services India is seeking an innovative Technical SAP ABAP on HANA developer to lead Gen AI application development within the tax transformation landscape. This role bridges the gap between IT and Tax functions, ensuring clients can navigate complex global environments with smarter solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement systems architecture using RAP (RESTful Application Programming), Core Data Services (CDS), OData V4, and Basic ABAP on HANA.
• Build end-to-end AI Agents and Gen AI applications to modernize client processes.
• Create optimized CDS views focusing on performance tuning and pushdown strategies for SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop Fiori-enabled UIs using annotations and support integration scenarios with both SAP and non-SAP systems via APIs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP for S/4HANA environments (clean-core approach, modular patterns).
• Demonstrated ability to build Gen AI applications and work with Python (preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP Business AI certification is a plus.
