About the Role: SAP BTP Developer RAP CDS - Senior
EY is seeking a skilled SAP UI5 Developer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and extend Fiori applications leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You will be responsible for adhering to SDLC guidelines throughout the solution implementation lifecycle, providing expert UI design guidance with a focus on security, and delivering immediate hot fixes for critical issues and configurations.
We are looking for a candidate with 3 to 6 years of experience in SAP technologies including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and SAPUI5/Fiori. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance SAP applications using these cutting-edge tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and extend Fiori applications using SAP BTP.
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines for all solution implementation phases.
- Provide guidance on UI design, including security considerations.
- Address immediate hot fixes for critical issues and configurations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Applications (BE/BTech/MCA) with 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Core Competencies:
- Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in SAPUI5 and Fiori elements-based application development and front-end extensions.
- Experience in developing Core Data Services (CDS).
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful services using the ABAP RAP framework to expose SAP data.
- Experience in extending standard Fiori applications.
- Basic knowledge of ABAP.
- Basic understanding of SAP BTP and its services.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- SAP certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Good to have experience in S/4 key user extension, developer extension, and Side-by-Side extensions using SAP BTP.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
- Experience in ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- Data provisioning experience.
- Experience in OO ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- Knowledge and understanding of testing OData services.
- Experience with SAP Workflow.
- Familiarity with SAP Basis & Authorization concepts.
