Full Job Description
Join EY's dynamic team in Bengaluru as a Senior SAP BTP Developer specializing in RAP and CDS. You will play a crucial role in developing and extending SAP applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves applying Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) guidelines throughout solution implementation, providing UI design guidance with a focus on security, and addressing immediate critical issues and configurations.
As a client-facing professional, you will leverage your expertise in SAP BTP, Core Data Services (CDS), ABAP RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and SAPUI5/Fiori to build and enhance SAP applications. We are seeking developers with 3 to 6 years of experience in these SAP technologies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Requirement: BE/BTech/MCA with 3-6 years of relevant industry experience.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and extending SAPUI5 and Fiori elements-based applications.
- Expertise in developing Core Data Services (CDS) for data modeling.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful services using the ABAP RAP framework to expose SAP data.
- Experience in extending standard Fiori applications.
- Foundational knowledge of ABAP.
- Basic understanding of SAP BTP services and capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Preferred: SAP certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate).
Good to Have Skills:
- Experience with S/4 key user extensions, developer extensions, and side-by-side extensions using SAP BTP.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Gateway and HANA Cloud Connector.
- Hands-on experience with ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- OData provisioning experience.
- Experience with OO ABAP and BAdI implementations.
- Knowledge of testing OData services.
- Experience with SAP Workflow.
- Familiarity with SAP Basis & Authorization concepts.
