IBM Consulting in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada, is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP S4/HANA Developer Lead. This role is integral to fostering long-term client relationships and driving collaborative innovation across various industries. The Development Lead will be responsible for overseeing all technical development activities, guiding a high-performing team, and ensuring the exceptional delivery of SAP solutions. Key responsibilities include acting as the primary technical representative, contributing to design discussions and gap analysis, assigning and managing development tasks, defining technical architecture and standards, and providing mentorship to developers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with WRICEF objects in S/4HANA and ABAP Cloud, building RAP-based Fiori applications, and developing CDS Views and AMDP. Expertise in ABAP code optimization, OData, REST, SOAP, IDoc integrations, and the SAP Enhancement Framework is essential. The role also involves unit testing, supporting integration testing, participating in code reviews, aligning with SAP Clean Core Strategy, and working with No-Code/Low-Code tools on SAP BTP. The Development Lead will also be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation.
