Salesperson

Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive parts retailer, is seeking a dedicated Salesperson to join our team in Miami, FL. This role is crucial for supporting our DIY business and achieving sales and service objectives. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience, meeting personal and store sales goals, and maintaining high store standards. Key responsibilities include assisting customers with DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installations. You will also play a vital role in inventory management, including truck put-away, cycle counts, and back-stock organization. Maintaining store cleanliness, general stocking, and performing safe parts deliveries are also essential functions of this position.

We are looking for individuals with basic automotive and parts knowledge, good store system proficiency, and the ability to source parts from various channels. An in-depth understanding of store inventory and maintenance processes is beneficial. This entry-level sales position requires friendly communication, the ability to locate and stock parts, and a strong commitment to safety. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being a plus. You should be comfortable reading safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs. Accurate basic math skills are necessary. The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

The physical demands of this role require the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, talk and hear, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus are required. The work environment is predominantly indoors but may involve occasional outdoor work in various weather conditions, and exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. The noise level is typically moderate.
