Job Overview: Sales Engineer - Agentic AI SOC Platform (India)

Simbian is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer/Solutions Engineer to join our expanding team in India. In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary technical expert, collaborating with our sales professionals to showcase the groundbreaking capabilities of Simbian's Agentic AI SOC platform to prospective enterprise and MSSP clients. Your deep technical understanding will be essential in demonstrating how Simbian can significantly fortify their security posture, amplify analyst capacity, and achieve superior security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Sales Leadership: Partner closely with the sales team, providing in-depth technical expertise throughout the sales cycle and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Deliver compelling, customized product demonstrations and presentations that vividly illustrate how Simbian's AI Agents autonomously triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from a variety of sources, including SIEMs, XDRs, endpoint, identity, cloud, and network security tools.
• Proof of Value (POV) Engagements: Strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive Proof of Value (POV) engagements. Work directly with customer security teams to validate measurable benefits such as reduced investigation times, enhanced accuracy, and increased SOC efficiency.
• Technical Diligence & Integration: Thoroughly understand customer security architectures and challenges. Map Simbian's extensive integration capabilities (e.g., with Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike, AWS, Okta, Jira, Slack) to their existing technology stack.
• Problem Solving: Adeptly address complex technical inquiries related to AI-driven security, data privacy, deployment models (on-premises or cloud), and compliance, reinforcing customer confidence in Simbian's secure-by-design principles.
• Market & Product Intelligence: Maintain continuous awareness of the latest cybersecurity threats, advancements in AI, and Simbian's evolving product features to effectively position our solutions within the market.
• Collaboration: Engage cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to relay customer feedback and ensure seamless implementation of solutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-10 years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar technical pre-sales role within the cybersecurity sector. A minimum of 2 years of experience with SOC tools is required.
• Cybersecurity Expertise: A robust understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, common industry challenges such as alert fatigue and talent shortages, and key security technologies (SIEM, EDR, XDR, SOAR).
• Cloud Security Knowledge: Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, along with their associated security services.
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with network engineering, operating systems, virtual machines, containers, and identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Timezone Commitment: This role will primarily support customers across time zones from India through Australia. Occasional support for customers outside this region may be required.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, from security analysts to C-level executives, is crucial.
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to analyze customer requirements, identify pain points, and propose effective technical solutions.
• Customer Focus: Experience working with enterprise and/or MSSP customers, understanding their unique needs, and delivering tangible value.
• Location Specific: Based in India, with a willingness to travel within the region as needed for customer engagements and industry events.
• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field is preferred.
