HVAC Sales Engineer - Pune & Maharashtra/Goa

HR Speaks is seeking a dynamic HVAC Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between advanced HVAC technology and customer needs. This role combines technical expertise with proactive sales, focusing on designing HVAC systems, identifying new business opportunities, and managing client relationships across Maharashtra and Goa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Proactively research, prospect, and conduct cold calling to generate new sales leads within Pune and surrounding areas.
  • Customer Interaction: Perform site visits, understand client requirements for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, and present suitable HVAC solutions like split, ducted, and VRF systems.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Prepare detailed quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales deals to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships to ensure high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer details, and forecasts using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Presentation: Develop and deliver professional sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to highlight the technical advantages and value of our HVAC products.

Required Criteria & Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering, Graduate, Diploma, or MBA.
  • Experience: Freshers or 1-2 years of proven experience in technical sales, ideally within HVAC, construction, or related mechanical/electrical industries.

Skills & Mobility

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional client interactions, cold calling, and email correspondence.
  • Negotiation: Demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate contracts and pricing for successful deal closure.
  • Technical Acumen: A foundational understanding of HVAC principles, components, and system types is highly beneficial. Training will be provided, requiring a quick learner with technical aptitude.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel for reporting/quotes, Word for proposals, PowerPoint for presentations).
  • Mandatory: Must be willing to travel extensively within Pune and possess a 2-wheeler with a valid driving license.
