Sales Engineer

HR Speaks is seeking a dynamic HVAC Sales Engineer for our Pune, India operations. This role is a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with proactive sales, serving as the crucial link between our advanced HVAC technology and customer needs. You will be instrumental in designing HVAC systems, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships throughout the Maharashtra and Goa region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Proactively research, prospect, and execute targeted campaigns to generate new sales leads within Pune and surrounding areas.
• Client Engagement: Conduct site visits to assess client requirements for residential, commercial, and industrial spaces, and deliver technically sound presentations on suitable HVAC solutions such as split, ducted, and VRF systems.
• Sales and Negotiation: Develop compelling quotations, negotiate contract terms effectively, and close sales to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term customer relationships, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
• Reporting: Accurately document sales activities, customer data, and forecasts using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Presentations: Create and deliver professional sales presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, highlighting the technical advantages and value proposition of our HVAC products.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC sales or projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems, including VRF, Chillers, AHU, FCU, and Ventilation.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret and understand HVAC drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel for reporting/quotes, Word for proposals, PowerPoint for presentations) and basic HVAC software/tools.
• A strong aptitude for learning and a foundational understanding of HVAC principles, components, and system types is essential.
• Must be willing to travel extensively within Pune and possess a 2-wheeler with a valid driving license.
