Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in Pune. This permanent position offers an opportunity to drive sales and build lasting customer relationships within the industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation

• Initiate lead generation through proactive cold calling efforts.
• Prepare and dispatch initial quotations and relevant documentation to prospective clients.

Sales Process Management

• Effectively identify and gather customer requirements, followed by negotiation.
• Successfully close sales deals to meet targets.
• Oversee and ensure timely recovery of payments from clients.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with customers regarding order status and fulfillment.

Reporting and Pipeline Management

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans.
• Monitor and report on the status of the sales pipeline.
• Accurately record orders and track their progress through to completion.
• Manage and follow up on payment statuses to ensure financial objectives are met.

Customer Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with our customer base.
• Provide excellent customer support, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Team Collaboration and Goal Achievement

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective success.
• Consistently strive to meet and exceed assigned sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background

• Possession of a Diploma or B.E. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication or Mechanical Engineering.

Professional Experience

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in industrial field sales.
• Demonstrated experience in selling industrial products including strapping machines, labeling machines, taping machines, coding and marking machines, pneumatics, sensors and encoders, conveyors, and check weighing machines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in basic computer operations.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Additional Requirements

• Must own a personal bike and possess a valid driving license.
