SINGHANIA TABLETING Group seeks a dynamic Sales Engineer to manage the complete sales cycle for high-value capital equipment, including industrial, pharma process, and packaging machinery. This role requires a strong technical understanding, often from an engineering background, to engage in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales. Key responsibilities include lead generation, client prospecting (consultants, EPCs, corporates), managing inquiries, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating, and closing deals. The Sales Engineer will leverage technical expertise to explain complex equipment benefits and tailor solutions to meet industrial and corporate client needs, with a focus on value-based selling. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding industry trends in Pharma and F&B, and providing after-sales support are crucial. The role also involves supporting marketing initiatives, participating in trade shows, analyzing competition, and forecasting sales. Effective management of the sales pipeline using CRM, extensive travel, and coordination with internal teams (service, project management) are integral to achieving sales targets in Mumbai and surrounding regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Generate leads, prospect new clients (consultants, EPCs, corporates), manage inquiries, conduct product demos/presentations, prepare proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
- Technical Expertise: Understand complex equipment (e.g., Process, Packaging equipment), explain benefits, and tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Client & Relationship Management: Build strong bonds with key accounts, understand industry trends (Pharma, F&B), and provide after-sales support.
- Market & Reporting: Support marketing, participate in trade shows, analyze competition, and provide sales forecasts.
- Operations: Manage sales pipeline, use CRM, travel extensively, and coordinate with internal teams (service, project management).
Desired Profile
- Education: Bachelor's or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical).
- Experience: 2-5 years in B2B technical/industrial/capital equipment sales.
- Skills: Analytical, Negotiation, Presentation, Communication, Capital Equipment / Sales process equipment / Packaging.
