Full Job Description
Join Hanna Instruments India as a Sales Engineer in Ahmedabad and contribute to achieving regional sales targets. This role involves building strong, long-term customer relationships, prospecting for new business, and conducting customer visits to understand and address their product needs. You will recommend suitable products, provide clear quotations and literature, negotiate effectively, and ensure prompt order closure and payment collection. The position also requires market research for new opportunities, participation in trade shows and conferences, and continuous enhancement of product and application knowledge. Responsibilities include performing product demonstrations, installations, and basic maintenance, attending training sessions, and collaborating with internal teams (inside sales, technical, accounting, shipping) and service engineers. Prompt customer follow-up, problem resolution, and submission of weekly reports to the Regional Sales Manager are also key duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering or Science, with a preference for Instrumentation, Electronics, or Chemistry.
- Minimum of 2 years of field sales experience in scientific instruments, analytical equipment, or a related sector.
- Strong technical acumen with proven ability in product demonstrations and installations.
- Demonstrated expertise in sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Must be target-driven, self-motivated, and prepared for extensive travel.
