Financial Modeling Prep, a rapidly expanding Fintech company recognized for its intuitive API delivering accurate financial data, is actively seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role is pivotal in managing the lead lifecycle, engaging prospective clients, and directly contributing to customer acquisition. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in researching, qualifying, and reactivating leads, as well as scheduling valuable demos for our Account Executives. Responsibilities include meticulously maintaining and updating the lead database, proactively contacting prospects through email, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other strategic channels. You will be responsible for following up with inbound leads, understanding their unique needs, and effectively booking demos. A key aspect of this role involves generating interest in FMP's offerings and ensuring a seamless transition of qualified prospects to Account Executives, complete with a clear understanding of their requirements. Building strong rapport and trust with prospects, setting realistic expectations about our product, and providing general assistance to the sales team as needed are also crucial.
