Job Description
We are seeking a highly talented Analyst to contribute to our global sales programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing complex energy and financial models, as well as generating quotations and comprehensive proposals. These will be based on technical requirements, project economics, and financial information gathered from various sources.
The Analyst will utilize CRM tools to provide the team with a consistent and accurate overview of global sales activities. We expect candidates to bring extensive experience in financial and business modeling. This role requires close collaboration with Global Sales, Project Engineering, Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure that NEXTracker consistently exceeds customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modeling tools.
- Coordinate sales proposals and generate accurate quotes.
- Track sales activities diligently using CRM systems, such as Salesforce.com.
- Maintain revenue forecasts on a weekly basis.
- Manage all CRM system reporting, including improvements and modifications.
- Generate sales reports and presentations, and effectively present findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Create and maintain sales models, ensuring a positive contribution margin on all NEXTracker sales.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Sales/Business Development Team on creative deal structuring and bid strategy development.
- Work in partnership with the Marketing & Product Management Team to provide valuable input on new product development.
- Continuously streamline, standardize, and enhance proposal templates, bankability binders, and client presentations.
- Periodically analyze orders and quotes to determine hit rates, identify top market segments, assess the effectiveness of different value propositions, and pinpoint lead sources.
Experience and Qualifications
- An engineering or advanced degree in a business or technical field is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, and/or financial modeling.
- Experience in the solar or power industry is considered a significant advantage.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
- Experience utilizing CRM tools; proficiency with Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
