Nextracker Inc. is seeking a Sales Analyst to be based in Hyderabad, India. This role reports to the Team Lead, Sales Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess a passionate drive to innovate, unwavering integrity, an enthusiastic customer focus, consistent teamwork, and a desire for continuous improvement and top performance.
Key responsibilities include coordinating sales proposal processes, generating quotes, and providing creative input to bid strategy. The Sales Analyst will track sales activities using NetSuite ERP and Salesforce.com CRM systems, manage all CRM reporting, improvements, and modifications, and generate comprehensive sales reports and presentations for various stakeholders. This role involves creating and maintaining sales models to ensure positive contribution margins on all Nextracker sales and collaborating closely with the Global Sales/Business Development Team on deal structuring and bid strategy. The analyst will also learn and utilize PV Syst energy production modelling software, work with the Marketing & Product Management Team to provide input on new products, and liaise with Customer Care for efficient communications and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the role requires continually streamlining and standardizing proposal templates, bankability binders, and client presentations, and fostering strong working relationships with internal departments such as Customer Applications, Cost Accounting, Logistics, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality product standards.
Required qualifications include a B.E/BTech in Mechanical, EEE, or ECE, or an MBA, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-sales, sales analysis, financial analysis, business development, or program management. Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential, along with strong analytical skills, the ability to work with cross-functional teams, robust financial modelling skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred experiences include solar industry background with project developers, owners, EPCs, or IPPs, and a passion for solar energy. Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is also a plus.
