Safety Engineer Role in Hyderabad

Aegis Automation India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Safety Engineer for their operations in Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Telangana, India. This permanent job opportunity requires 2-4 years of experience.

Key responsibilities include the implementation and monitoring of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and site safety plans. You will be responsible for conducting safety inductions, Toolbox Talks (TBT), and comprehensive safety training for all personnel. This role involves identifying hazards, preparing thorough risk assessments, and ensuring strict compliance with statutory, client, and company safety requirements.

Daily site inspections will be crucial to identify and report unsafe acts and conditions. You will monitor critical safety areas such as hot work, work at height, lifting operations, and electrical safety. The role also encompasses conducting firefighting drills, emergency preparedness exercises, and mock drills. Regular inspection and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, ladders, and power tools are essential.

Investigating incidents, near misses, and accidents, along with preparing detailed reports, is a core part of this position. You will be tasked with maintaining comprehensive safety records, registers, permits, and monthly EHS reports. Effective coordination with clients, Project Management Consultants (PMC), engineers, and subcontractors on all safety matters is expected. Ensuring the proper implementation of safety protocols during firefighting system installation is also a key duty.

• NEBOSH IGC.
• IOSH or OSHA certification.
