Full Job Description
GiGa-Ops Global Solutions is seeking a motivated and skilled SaaS Collaboration & Applications Engineer to manage and support enterprise collaboration platforms. This role is crucial for the end-to-end lifecycle management of key SaaS tools, ensuring operational excellence, security, automation, and a superior user experience. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on SaaS administration experience, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with IAM, Security, Legal, Procurement, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete lifecycle of SaaS collaboration tools, including onboarding, configuration, support, optimization, and decommissioning. Manage licensing, renewals, cost optimization, RFI/RFP participation, implementation, and termination processes, coordinating with Procurement and Finance.
- Tier 1 / Tier 2 Support: Provide direct support for user incidents and service requests, troubleshooting access, permissions, integrations, and performance issues. Monitor system health, availability, and usage to ensure timely resolution in line with SLAs.
- SaaS Platform Administration: Support and administer enterprise SaaS collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Asana, Miro, Okta, and other relevant platforms.
- Security & Identity Management: Collaborate with IAM and Security teams to enforce policies and secure configurations. Manage SSO integrations (SAML, OIDC) and support role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Automation & Integration: Develop and maintain automation scripts using GAM (Google Automation), Python, and REST APIs to optimize workflows and enhance interoperability across SaaS systems. Leverage automation and AI for efficiency gains.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Document incidents, solutions, onboarding guides, and SOPs. Provide user training and onboarding support. Identify and implement process improvements for enhanced SaaS operations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with enterprise SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Okta, Asana, Miro, etc.). Strong understanding of GAM, Python scripting, REST APIs, SSO integrations (SAML/OIDC), and IAM best practices. Experience managing SaaS licensing, renewals, and vendor coordination. Familiarity with monitoring and service management platforms.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent troubleshooting capabilities. Clear and confident communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven stakeholder management skills across various departments (Security, Legal, Procurement, IT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in hybrid or enterprise-scale SaaS environments.
- Exposure to automation-driven SaaS optimization.
- ITIL foundation knowledge.
- Experience participating in RFI/RFP processes.
