Full Job Description
Harvested Robotics is seeking an experienced Robotics Systems Engineer for a full-time, on-site position in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role offers the opportunity to own the end-to-end integration of complex robotic systems, ensuring seamless operation across perception, computer vision, firmware, tracking, hardware, and compute for production-ready and field-reliable robots.
What You'll Do
- Integrate essential robotic components including sensors, embedded compute, motor drivers, and control systems.
- Seamlessly integrate and validate computer vision pipelines with real-time control loops.
- Establish clear and robust system interfaces between perception, firmware, and hardware development teams.
- Architect and implement efficient communication pipelines utilizing protocols such as CAN, UART, and Ethernet.
- Effectively diagnose and resolve cross-layer failures spanning hardware, firmware, and vision systems.
- Develop and implement system diagnostics, health monitoring, and telemetry systems.
- Ensure precise timing and synchronization across all system modules.
- Lead comprehensive system validation, stress testing, and field reliability initiatives.
- Provide crucial support for production deployment and hardware revision processes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in building integrated robotic systems.
- Solid understanding of core robotics principles, including controls, sensors, and embedded compute.
- Hands-on experience with Computer Vision applied within real-world robotic systems.
- Proven experience integrating diverse hardware components such as cameras, IMUs, encoders, motor controllers, and embedded compute platforms.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across mechanical, firmware, AI, and vision engineering disciplines.
- A strong debugging mindset, capable of identifying and resolving issues at the intersection of hardware and software.
- Familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and structured testing methodologies.
Bonus Points
- Experience in shipping robots to actual customers in real-world environments.
- Exposure to safety systems or the principles of fault-tolerant design.
- Experience working with real-time Linux environments.
- Prior experience in production manufacturing and deployment of robotic systems.
