Risk Market Data Analyst at Natwest Digitalx - Gurgaon/Gurugram & Bengaluru/Bangalore

Natwest Digitalx is seeking a skilled Risk Market Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in either Gurgaon/Gurugram or Bengaluru/Bangalore. This permanent role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of market data essential for our risk models, regulatory reporting, and capital calculations. You will play a key part in supporting our risk management functions by applying robust market data methodologies and diligently monitoring controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of market data to risk models, adhering strictly to regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of critical internal and regulatory reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Produce comprehensive impact analysis reports following any changes to market data.
• Support the gathering of requirements for market data systems specifically used in market and counterparty credit risk.
• Provide valuable input on market data platform architecture and efficient data delivery methods.
• Maintain essential controls, conduct risk assessments, and manage assurance programs to effectively monitor and mitigate material risks.
• Collaborate closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure full regulatory compliance.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum of one year of relevant experience in risk or market data analysis.
• A strong foundational understanding of finance concepts, including Value at Risk (VaR) and counterparty credit risk.
• Proven experience working with external data vendors and managing data sourcing processes.
• Familiarity with relevant risk and data applications and software.
• Demonstrated experience in producing regulatory reports and interacting with auditors.
• Mandatory MBA in Finance.
• CFA and/or FRM certifications are considered advantageous.
