Full Job Description
EY is seeking a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer for their Risk Consulting - Digital Risk division in Chennai, India. This role involves developing and implementing technology solutions for clients and internal teams.
About the Role
As a Full Stack .Net Developer at EY, you will work on developing outstanding databases and innovative solutions for our client-serving professionals. You will be responsible for the technical design and development of solutions, estimating technical effort, and managing risks. This role requires monitoring adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs, along with effective stakeholder management and communication within the team and across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical design and development of solutions.
- Effort estimation, work breakdown structure, risk assessment, and solution definition.
- Monitoring adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
- Stakeholder management and communication.
- Providing input to application development methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Proactive problem identification, definition, root cause analysis, and solution implementation.
- Designing and implementing new tools from scratch.
- Maintaining new and existing code, including bug fixes, refactoring, and feature additions.
- Independent learning with minimal guidance.
- Balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Skills and Experience:
Core Technologies:
- C# .Net, .Net Core, MVC, Web API, LINQ, Entity Framework, MSTest, xUnit, NUnit
- SQL, PL/SQL
- Azure, ServiceBus, RabbitMQ
- React or Angular
Design and Development Principles:
- MVC, Single Page Application Architecture
- Design Patterns, SOLID, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Object-Oriented Development
- Repository Pattern, Unit of Work Pattern
- ORM frameworks (Entity Framework / ADO.Net)
- RESTful API design principles
- Software testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing)
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
Additional Skills:
- Exposure to 3rd party controls (Telerik, Kendo UI)
- Agile Development Methodologies
- Version Control (GIT/TFVC)
- CI/CD and Microservices (added advantage)
- Azure Cloud Platform (added advantage)
- Database performance tuning
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and lead/supervise team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant Full Stack .Net Development experience.
- Management experience is a plus.
- BE, B.Tech, MCA degree required.
