Retail Supervisor

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. seeks a motivated Retail Supervisor to join our team in Sturtevant, WI. This role is instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and donation centers, focusing on team leadership, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You will motivate your team to meet production standards, drive a positive customer experience through effective merchandising, and provide coaching to enhance individual and team performance. The ideal candidate will understand and implement company policies, manage daily tasks effectively, and adapt to changes with a willingness to learn and grow. You'll provide close supervision for routine work, with clear instructions for more complex tasks. A basic understanding of disciplinary procedures and strong customer service fundamentals are essential. As an ambassador for Goodwill, you'll contribute to maximizing the value of donated goods, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring a continuous flow of new merchandise. You will support the training and coaching of associates, oversee staffing at POS and donation areas, and assist with the hiring process. Key responsibilities include functioning as a Service Experience Leader (SEL), operating the register, managing tills, ensuring efficient customer flow, maintaining sales staff productivity, and upholding proper cash controls. You will also maintain a safe and orderly work environment, ensure safe equipment operation, and collaborate with Store Management on loss prevention initiatives. Accurate data entry for reports, sharing insights from data, and consistent communication of policies and procedures are crucial. Your role will involve planning and organizing work assignments to enhance customer service and protect assets. Additional duties as assigned will be part of your responsibilities.
