Retail Network Engineer

Role Overview

Join Apple's Information Systems and Technology organization as a Retail Network Engineer. You will be instrumental in building and operating global technology systems that support employees, customers, and retail stores worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, troubleshoot, automate, and secure WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure across Apple Retail Store locations globally.
• Create scalable network solutions to meet evolving business needs for new and existing store openings.
• Detect and resolve root causes of complex network issues ensuring high availability.
• Develop automation playbooks using Python or Ansible to streamline infrastructure deployment.
• Maintain consistency in software, configuration, and security across the global fleet.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and architecture partners on design standards and new solutions.

Requirements:

We are seeking a professional with 3+ years of networking experience. Strong proficiency in IPv4/IPv6 protocols is essential. You should possess expertise in at least one major vendor's routing platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista), switching technologies, and security appliances.

• Experience provisioning WAN circuits including Metro Ethernet, Dark Fiber, and Transit lines.
• Familiarity with standard Linux utilities for diagnostics and automation scripting.
