ISG, a leading global technology research and advisory firm, is seeking a Research Data Analyst / Senior Analyst for its Bengaluru/Bangalore, India office. This role is integral to our AI-centered approach, focusing on collecting, processing, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to drive critical business decisions. The analyst will collaborate with a dynamic team to uncover actionable insights and trends from provider responses in our research surveys. Key responsibilities include analyzing survey responses, identifying significant trends, daily survey tracking, generating insights from complex datasets, and building quantitative data dashboards using Power BI or Excel.

We are looking for candidates with a strong foundation in data analysis, including proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, scipy), advanced Excel skills, SQL for database querying, and data visualization techniques using libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clean, transform, and extract data from various sources. Strong communication skills for data reporting and storytelling are essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Familiarity with AI tools, particularly Generative AI (e.g., GPT-5, Copilot, ChatGPT), is highly valued for automating tasks like data documentation, code generation, and report summarization.

A relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
