About The Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript) to maintain and enhance our SaaS platform powering high-traffic APIs for campaign generation, template storage, and credit-based billing. In this role, you will ensure uptime, scalability, and performance across critical infrastructure.

• Develop robust backend services using Node.js, Express/NestJS with TypeScript
• Optimize MongoDB queries, indexes, and caching strategies (Redis) for high-performance APIs
• Manage job queues (BullMQ/RabbitMQ), async workflows, and AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, SES)
• Implement security best practices including API authentication, rate-limiting, GDPR compliance, and secure email data handling
• Maintain API versioning, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest/Mocha/Vitest to ensure code reliability

You will debug complex production issues efficiently while upholding strict logging standards with tools like Winston or Prometheus/Grafana. Prior experience in SaaS applications, high-traffic APIs, or campaign/marketing platforms is highly preferred.
