Full Job Description
Overview
This role is responsible for the comprehensive management of facility and administrative operations, ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning. The position requires a proactive approach to maintenance, repair, and operational upkeep of various systems and equipment within the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks according to the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Respond promptly to work order requests for corrective maintenance, service, and repair activities.
- Liaise with vendors for systems covered under warranty or annual maintenance contracts (AMC).
- Monitor and record energy consumption.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting for diesel generator (DG) sets.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, encompassing both electrical and mechanical aspects.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, including branch circuits, lighting, transformers, and associated wiring methods and materials.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders.
- Contribute to production support by adhering to safety standards and maintaining a customer-focused approach.
- Undertake minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and operational equipment like trolleys, cages, and carts.
- Conduct regular checks of fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
- Perform maintenance, oiling, and greasing for carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
- Attend to general electrical works as required.
- Issue hot work and height work permits.
- Address minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance requests.
- Submit daily reports detailing work order closures, open cases, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of tools.
- Manage and execute the PPM schedule.
- Oversee soft services, including pest control, housekeeping, and scrap/garbage disposal.
- Supervise agency staff and manage overall shift operations.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls fields.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 or more years of experience in maintaining conveyors, automation, or control systems.
