Reliability & Maintenance Engineer - Amazon Robotics

Amazon Robotics is seeking a skilled Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Gurugram, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our robotics facilities through comprehensive maintenance and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all facility and administration activities.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly technical checks as per the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
• Respond to and resolve corrective maintenance, service, and repair requests via TT calls.
• Coordinate with vendors for systems covered under warranty or Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Monitor and report energy consumption.
• Ensure regular maintenance of Diesel Generators (DG sets).
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and various wiring methods and materials.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tacks, and encoders.
• Support production operations in a safe and customer-focused manner.
• Conduct minor refurbishment and upgrade works for building finishes, fixtures, fittings, equipment, fixed furniture, and operational equipment like trolleys, cages, and carts.
• Perform regular checks on fire alarm systems and fire extinguishers.
• Maintain, oil, and grease essential equipment including carts, trolleys, pumps, and rolling shutters.
• Attend to various electrical work requirements.
• Manage hot work and height work permits.
• Address minor civil and plumbing corrective maintenance calls.
• Provide daily reports on TT closure status, open cases, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Maintain and update tools inventory.
• Ensure adherence to the PPM schedule.
• Manage soft services including pest control, housekeeping, and scrap/garbage disposal.
• Supervise agency staff and oversee shift operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in maintenance of conveyors, automation, or control systems.
